ISAS School Participates in the ‘My Arabic Language’ Competition

Asya Rashid Al Kamali, a Grade 4 - ISAS Student, was awarded the second prize in the competition

Dubai - MENA Herald: As part of its efforts to promote the Arabic language among young Arab students and encourage them to become fluent Arabic speakers, International School of Arts & Science (ISAS) students recently participated at the ‘My Language Arabic’ competition which was jointly organized by the Ministry Of Higher Education & Scientific Research and the Arabic Language Protection Association (ALPA).

Lauded for her efforts in exhibiting exceptional skills in the use of Arabic language, Asya Rashid Al Kamali, a Grade 4 - ISAS Student, was awarded the second prize in the competition. Also as a member of the Arabic language Friend’s committee, Asya shared her experience with grade two students from the Al Nahda Basic Education School.

“We are extremely proud of Asya’s achievements. She is an inspiration to all other Arab students aspiring to become proficient in their mother tongue,” said Muhieddine Soubra – Principal of ISAS.

“At AMSI we strongly believe that learning the national language forms a great part of any culture, and we are committed to supporting the initiatives of local authorities by cultivating and evoking a sense of national pride and identity among the young Arab students across all our schools.”
