Monday 19 October 2015

Dubai - MENA Herald: Aspenta, a U.S. based fully-integrated mobile operator and IoT solutions provider, will showcase exciting new developments particularly its innovative vehicle tracking products, at this year’s edition of GITEX Technology Week 2015 in Dubai. The company is set to feature live product demonstrations and will also be attended by the company founders and other executives at booth A5-50 in Hall 5 from October 18-22, 2015.

The company’s Vectu line of GPS tracking devices allows both consumers and businesses to keep track of people, possessions and vehicles - through a web or mobile app. The Vectu PRO, one of the latest additions to Aspenta’s product portfolio, focuses on installed vehicle security and location awareness.

WHO estimates that there are over 90 million vehicles registered in the Middle East and African region (MEA) alone. Vehicles equipped with tracking devices can decrease travel downtime, improve employee accountability, streamline logistic processes and save time spent in traffic. With a diverse product range of personal and vehicle tracking devices, low service fees of about AED 11/month (USD 3/month) and no roaming charges, Vectu products provide peace of mind and security at the lowest possible cost. Vectu products work in over 190 countries and reduce the barrier for global mobile applications.

All Vectu devices can be followed in the free myAspenta app available for Android and iOS. For added convenience, Vectu users can track or locate devices on the web at myAspenta.com. Each device can be shared with other users and notifications settings let users add additional phone numbers and email addresses to receive notifications.  As an innovative player in the IoT market, to quell any potential privacy and security concerns, Vectu utilizes state-of-the-art encryption technology which grants access to only those users permitted.

“Consumers and businesses can locate people, vehicles and assets regardless of their location-- eliminating worry or uncertainty,” said Dr. Walid Moneimme, CEO, Aspenta. “We are very excited to participate in GITEX and announce our new vehicle tracking products in Middle East and Africa. As we further develop our portfolio, we aim to enable IoT growth by offering solutions that can be deployed worldwide”.

Aspenta also benefits B2B industries allowing businesses to accurately and efficiently locate assets worldwide, including transportation fleets, goods and people. Aspenta products significantly reduce business expenditures by providing an affordable option with no roaming costs and safer ways to expand operations across borders.
