Dubai Chamber’s International Conference to launch 9th cycle of Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum Business Award

Dubai - MENA Herald:  The Dubai Chamber of Commerce and Industry is hosting an International Conference on November 24 at Hyatt Regency Dubai Creek Heights to launch the 9th cycle of the Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum Business Award. In line with the UAE Vision 2021 to move towards a more innovation-driven knowledge economy, this International Conference entitled “The Innovation Economy: Nurturing an ecosystem for Innovation, Excellence, and Value Creation”, will address both the microeconomic and macroeconomic fundamentals of developing a sustainable innovation-based ecosystem in the face of today’s ever progressive global landscape. From outlining the macroeconomic determinants required in creating a conducive environment for innovation and wealth creation, to imparting real-time and applicable business practices proven to create value and foster business growth, this Conference with its emphasis on innovation, will provide powerful insights, practical tools, and invaluable knowledge on how to thrive as a modern organisation in today’s ever evolving and dynamic economic realm. This day-long International Conference will be attended by H.E. Sultan Bin Saeed Al Mansouri, UAE Minister of Economy, and Chairman of the Award Panel of Judges, and brings together a select panel of internationally renowned business excellence, technology, and innovation experts, as well as policy makers, including amongst others,  Dr. Jean-Eric Aubert, Former Lead Specialist at The World Bank and Organisation for Economic Cooperation and Development (OECD), who will delve into the macroeconomic components of an innovation economy. Sunil Sinha, Resident Director, Tata Sons MENA, will speak about the impact of business excellence on harnessing innovation, while Khalid Al Khudair, Founder and CEO, Glowork, KSA, will showcase how his organisation flourished by turning uncertainty into a breakthrough opportunity.
