Abu Dhabi - MENA Herald: Ducab, UAE-based leading manufacturer of high-quality cables and cabling products, is a key participant at Abu Dhabi International Petroleum Exhibition & Conference (ADIPEC). The company is utilising the industry platform to showcase their advances through major projects in multiple sectors regionally and globally, building on strong expertise in sectors such as oil and gas, utilities, transportation, nuclear, and more.
During 2015, Ducab has signed contracts and commenced delivery to a number of local, regional and international projects across multiple sectors. Most recently, the company has secured significant orders worth US$60 million in the Oil, Gas and Petrochemical sector in Abu Dhabi and US$70 million in Kuwait.

Globally, Ducab has marked its entry into the European market with the acquisition of AEI cables in England, its first overseas plant. The acquisition also expanded Ducab’s specialised product portfolio, establishing it as a single source cable solutions provider and a full participant in the wire and cable market business in the gulf region which is currently witnessing major infrastructure and industrial developments. Ducab has now grown to become the first manufacturer of rubber cables in the Middle East and North Africa, produced at its facility at Mussafah, Abu Dhabi to meet the demands for special cabling from the region's industrialization push.
Specifically addressing the requirements of the Oil, Gas & Petrochemical sector, Ducab’s PetroBICC cables are designed to meet international quality standards, including hydrocarbon resistance and low toxicity. The PetroBICC range has seen significant acceptance from the OGP sector in the region, where presently Ducab is supplying an order worth US$16.3 million in the Oman territory ORIP As part of its innovation and sector-focused product approach, Ducab’s products also include FlamBICC, the flame-retardant cable series; RuBICC range of rubber cables for flexible applications; and NuBICC, which has been specially developed and certified for over 60 years for the nuclear power generation sector.
At ADIPEC, Ducab will showcase its market-leading range of products at stand 6322, Abu Dhabi National Exhibition Centre between November 9th and 12th.
