Dubai – MENA Herald: The face of Indian Cinema globally , Nawazuddin Siddiqui, announces the upcoming launch of his first ever Global acting school – The School of Acting By Nawazuddin Siddiqui-  today at Crowne Plaza , Sheikh Zayed Road , Dubai. Spear headed by the actor himself, this universal initiative will be accessible to students from all walks of life. Dubai, being a global city and central hub, has thus been the first choice for this one of a kind endeavour. 

A pass out of the National School of Drama, Siddiqui has done umpteen non stereotypical roles. With multiple awards to his name and global recognition, this Global Academy is his own personnel initiative towards the love of Cinema and his way of giving it back to the community.

Talking about his initiative, actor, Nawazuddin Siddiqui said, “I am delighted to introduce a global academy, which will train young performers in the craft of acting. This hands on learning environment will be a global platform that will polish their raw skills and expose their talent for the world to know.  Dubai’s magnitude as a global city will provide the academy a global platform making it an ideal choice for launching my academy.”

The global academy is slated to be in operations by next year and it will feature a state-of-the-art facility with the focus on whetting acting skills of potential students. The curriculum and quality of education will be at par with international standards and is personally hand-picked by the master himself. A roster of international and national celebrities will be sharing and nurturing each student’s creativity through their invaluable on-the-job experiences and tips to success. The icing on the cake is – this would be channelized through the biggest names in world cinema hand-picked by Siddiqui himself.

Currently the final structure and location is being finalised keeping student’s comfort and proximity in mind. Courses would be focussing intensely on honing acting skills in particular and would be long and short term in nature.

Siddiqui adds, “A conducive environment is a must for nurturing the right talent. Courses are personally being crafted by me keeping international standards in mind at the same time extending complete comfort and environment for any actor to learn and unlearn skills. At the end of the day I personally want all of them to learn and have guidance from the most reputed names in world cinema.”

Courses would focus on all nuances of acting and would be crafted not only for nurturing the new talent but also for seasoned actors who wish to unlearn and go for career makeovers.
