Dubai - MENA Herald: Etisalat today announced its strategic partnership with FireEye, a company specialized in protecting enterprises from advanced attacks, offering customers the most comprehensive cyber security solution.
Enterprises in the UAE report an increase in security spending to align with ambitious investments in Internet enabled technologies such as cloud, virtualization and mobility, which have gained popularity in driving innovation and competitive differentiation. While enterprises have grown more security conscious, attackers are also leveraging technology to create complex new tactics and methods to successfully breach and steal digital information and assets.
Etisalat’s partnership with FireEye will extend an agile and comprehensive ‘Managed Security Service’, incorporating real-time threat intelligence, enterprise-grade security technology and rapid incident response capabilities. Etisalat’s enterprise customers will have access to the complete range of FireEye technologies as well as their analyst teams, forensic specialists and malware reverse engineers.
The FireEye-As-A-Service offering is an on-demand security management service that allows organizations to scale their security investments up or down, based on their unique needs at any point in time.

Enterprises can now opt to manage or offload their own security operations or co-manage operations with Etisalat and FireEye. The partnership will allow continuous monitoring, detection, quick containment of malware and other perceived threats to both enterprises and government organizations.
An adaptive defense security model will be deployed to help enterprises establish effective yet nimble security procedures to shorten the “alert to fix” cycle from days to minutes, ultimately mitigating the impact of a potential security breach.
