Dubai – MENA Herald: As part of ongoing efforts of the Awqaf and Minors Affairs Foundation (AMAF) to enhance communication between its management and employees, His Excellency Tayeb Al Rais, Secretary General of AMAF, convened a meeting of managers, department heads and employees at the AMAF headquarters in Dubai.

The meeting aimed to enhance one-on-one communication between AMAF’s senior management and employees to enable greater sharing of ideas, suggestions and thoughts on issues related to working at the Foundation and creating an efficient work place. The meeting also reviewed the progress achieved across different projects and initiatives.

His Excellency Tayeb Al Rais started the meeting by quoting His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice-President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, who said: “Every human being must be unique, and every employee has an aspiration to excel. Our job as officials is to provide the perfect environment to unleash the talents and capabilities of our citizens.”

Al Rais reiterated the importance of such meetings in strengthening relations between senior management and employees. He pointed out that AMAF’s management believes in listening to the employees, answering their questions, solving their problems, and taking their suggestions into consideration to further boost the work environment within the Foundation.

In addition, Al Rais also encouraged employees to develop their own skill sets and talents through continuous learning, and invited them to explore local and international success stories and adopt best practices and innovations in their daily work within the government sector.

Al Rais said: “Our success relies first and foremost on our employees. The management is very keen on listening to your opinions and supporting your efforts to offer better services to our customers. We believe this will help achieve AMAF’s strategic objectives and realize our core vision that focuses on attaining ‘qualified minors and a sustainable waqf’. I wish you all continued success in your work so that our Foundation can achieve its mission of enhancing the culture of waqf and boosting waqf projects in the UAE, the Arab region and the wider Islamic world.”
