DAMAC Properties Partners with Dubai Land Department to Host Urban Thinkers Campus, Dubai

Dubai - MENA Herald: Luxury real estate developer, DAMAC Properties announces its strategic partnership with Dubai Real Estate Institute (DREI), the knowledge arm of the Dubai Land Department (DLD) for its Urban Thinkers Campus, one of 28 campuses worldwide to be held at Meydan Hotel on 10th and 11th of January, 2016.

The event is being organized by DREI and the International Real Estate Federation (FIABCI), and will gather more than 150 specialists from various fields to discuss urban solutions for the world’s new urban strategy 2036 and the best practices of prominent cities in the world, which have applied UN international standards of sustainability, smart cities, economic vibrancy and inclusiveness.

Danielle Grossenbacher, President of FIABCI, said, “We are so honoured to partner with DREI to run this event in the city of Dubai which is an example of a great city that resembles all standards of sustainably, economic vibrancy and resilience. The hosting of this event in Dubai is important to the whole region as its final publication will be integrated in the UN New Urban Agenda 2036."

As of 30th September 2015, DAMAC Properties has delivered 14,375 homes and has a development portfolio of over 37,000 units at various stages of progress and planning.
