Abu Dhabi - MENA Herald: HOFTEL, the only global alliance of hospitality real estate investors, will host the first annual Gulf and Indian Ocean Hotel Investors’ Summit (GIOHIS) in Abu Dhabi next month – see www.giohis.com

This brand new summit will take place from February 8-9, 2016 at the Yas Viceroy Abu Dhabi Hotel and will provide a fresh, unique approach to hotel investment conferences, with sessions designed specifically for hotel owners and investors and speakers selected on quality not based on sponsorship payments.

Summit Programme
The summit programme includes presentations, debates and round tables that are designed to be useful, informative and entertaining. This allows fresh perspectives to flourish and encourages lively disagreement in order to stimulate new ideas and create innovative strategies.
Topics for the two day conference, include “Challenges Facing Hotel Owners,” “Frenemies – are the disruptors helping us or hurting us” and “New Kids on the Block - Executives at new & fast-rising companies pitch for your US$ 100 million investment.”

Key Speakers
A key objective of the conference is to focus on how to make hospitality real estate a profitable asset class and how to overcome the key issues that can make that objective difficult to achieve.
Over 80 senior hotel industry speakers will take part in debates and round table discussions and attendees will include delegates from the Middle East, Europe, the USA, Mauritius, the Seychelles, Singapore, Thailand and Australia. Anyone who has an interest in investments in the region will find it a highly useful event.

The 200-plus attendee conference size will make it the perfect place to meet and network with key decision makers, while the low registration cost makes it extremely attractive to those who may be interested to learn more about the world of hotel investment and understand the diverse hotel owner universe.
