Dubai – MENA Herald: In collaboration with Al Jalila Foundation, du announced its Exclusive Packages for Special Numbers auction, organised by OnLine Auctions, on February 6, 2016. The auction features the number 052 111 1111 as the most exclusive among the exclusive numbers offered with special packages under different categories.
The 2016 edition follows the unprecedented success of last year’s auction. In line with du’s continued efforts towards sustainability, part of the auction proceeds will be allocated to support Al Jalila Foundation’s endeavors in scientific and medical research. The initiative falls under du’s ongoing initiatives aimed at contributing to the UAE’s national innovation strategy, where technology and healthcare are considered major players.

A portion of the proceeds from the 2015 du special numbers auction benefitted two great charitable initiatives, Alam Wa Amal on Sharjah TV and Emarat El Kheir on Noor Dubai Radio Channel. The proceeds were used to support over 90 charity projects, like building mosques and arranging Umrah trips, and individual cases for people in need and special medical cases.
