Dubai - MENA Herald: Sheikh Khalifa Government Excellence Program has announced the launch of a comprehensive smart electronic system for ‘Mohammed Bin Rashid Government Excellence Award’ to facilitate the nomination procedures for the award. The new system aims to save time, effort and resources, transforming the entire process from submissions to evaluation into an integrated process.
The system, which will be applied for the first time at the fourth edition of ‘Mohammed Bin Rashid Government Excellence Award’, will be connected with development and performance measurement systems in the federal government, such as ‘Performance 2.0’. It will act as a key link between the application and the evaluation process, besides using the available data to ensure the selection of the best candidates who have contributed to better government performance levels.
On the occasion, Abdullah Bin Touq, Executive Director for Excellence and Leadership at the Prime Minister's Office and General Coordinator of Sheikh Khalifa Government Excellence Programme, said: “The new system forms a comprehensive platform for the various stages of the award from the submission until the announcement of the results. It represents a major leap in the development of the award process, aligning it with UAE Vision 2021 as well as the key pillars of the fourth edition of ‘Mohammed Bin Rashid Government Excellence Award’.”
Recently, Sheikh Khalifa Government Excellence Program organized a workshop participated by 120 excellence ambassadors from federal government entities. During the event, Mohammed Al Naqi, Director of Sheikh Khalifa Government Excellence Program, explained the latest changes that have been incorporated in the system. The workshop included an interactive dialogue on the participants’ experiences and their queries.
The evaluation system of ‘Mohammed Bin Rashid Government Excellence Award’ has adopted the pillars of the fourth generation of government excellence system, enabling Sheikh Khalifa Government Excellence Program and government entities to achieve excellence in the evaluation process. It also allows the panel of judges to deliver their comments and provide the evaluation reports electronically to the respective entities.
