Abu Dhabi – MENA Herald: Western Motors, the sole distributor of Jeep®, Fiat and Mopar® in Abu Dhabi and a member of the Al Fahim Group, has re-affirmed its commitment to deliver the highest levels of customer care with the opening of a new state-of-the-art 10,717-square-metre facility in Mussafah, Abu Dhabi.

Specifically designed to enhance the customer experience at every level, it includes a Fiat Showroom, fully air-conditioned active reception, waiting area with free Wi-Fi, spare parts outlet carrying 65,000 line items, Mopar Training area, and a service workshop which houses a body and paint shop.

The official opening was marked with a special ceremony held on February 1st, 2016 that was attended by senior members of the Al Fahim Family as well as executive management from the Fiat Chrysler Automobiles (FCA) Middle East Regional Office.

“We are proud to be celebrating the opening of the new Western Motors facility in Mussafah, which will cater to the evolving demands of our customers in Abu Dhabi,” said Frank Bernthaler, CEO of Al Fahim Automotive.

“We have made a major investment in this facility in line with our constant pursuit of automotive excellence, and have kept the customer in mind at every stage of its development – it is further proof of our pledge to deliver the highest quality across all of the brands under our umbrella,” Frank continued.

The air-conditioned active reception includes 10 work bays, and the service workshop, which currently features 56 work bays, has been designed with the capability to add an additional 25 in the coming years. Also fully air-conditioned, the service workshop is one of the very few of such a high standard in the UAE, and offers a comfortable work environment for the factory trained technicians, helping them stay cool throughout the day to ensure the delivery of seamless and optimum services to customers.

“This investment is designed not only to meet the demands of today, but also to ensure that the highest levels of after-sales service are provided to our customers for years to come,” added Bernthaler.

In line with this corporate commitment, a dedicated Mopar technical training centre has also been incorporated into the new facility as part of Western Motors’ sustained efforts to develop the skills of its technical staff and guarantee the quickest repair turnaround time for customers. FCA will also stage regional training sessions for the team members of other distributors from across the GCC at the new centre.
