Dubai – MENA Herald: Holland & Barrett UAE has launched the brand’s first ever website outside of the UK, making it the only other localised Holland & Barrett website in the world.
The retailer, part of Al Khayyat Investments in Dubai, launched the website complete with e-commerce, earlier this month. Health fans across the UAE will now be able to find their favourite products online and have them delivered to their doorstep. The new website launched with a series of exclusive offers, with customers able to access daily offers for a period of two weeks from the launch date.
“We are consistently looking for new ways to improve our customers’ experience when shopping with us. Providing customers with the ability to access all of our products in one place, online, was naturally the next step for us,” says Warren David Muir, General Manager, Holland & Barrett.
The online store provides the opportunity to access over 2,500 products including food, drink, vitamins and supplements as well as specialist areas of weight management, sports nutrition, natural beauty and free-from foods for which the brand is increasingly becoming recognised.
The online store is optimised for desktop, tablet and mobile users alike and provides features aimed at making the process of product selection and repeat purchase even easier. Customers can search or simply browse product categories using filters to make finding their favourite products even easier. Product comparisons can be made to ensure the consumer finds exactly what they are looking for. For regular purchases, products can be saved as a ‘favourite’ and all this is complemented with a quick and efficient delivery service, saving time and money.
The UAE franchise posted outstanding growth figures at the end of last year, with sales increasing a massive 120% from 2014 to 2015. The UAE business was also recognised for its successes internally, winning the coveted International Franchise of the Year for its UAE stores.
