Dubai – MENA Herald: Under the patronage of His Highness Sheikh Ahmed Bin Saeed Al Maktoum, Chairman, Dubai Airports; President, Dubai Civil Aviation Authority, and Chairman & CEO, Emirates Group, the Department of Economic Development (DED) in association with strategic partners Dubai Quality Group (DQG) and Emirates Business Management (EBM) International, will organise the Best Practices & Benchmarking Forum 2016 at the Le Meridien Hotel, Great Grand Ballroom on the 7th of March 2016.
The forum is aimed at showcasing the best practices of winners of DED’s Business Excellence Awards – the Dubai Quality Award (DQA), Dubai Human Development Award (DHDA) and Dubai Service Excellence Scheme (DSES), as well as the International Business Excellence Awards, Gulf Customer Customer Experience Awards and the EBM Benchmarking Programme – and encouraging participants to benchmark their practices against a set of performance indicators, related to Customers, People, Society and Business. These practices will be published and distributed in an e-booklet at the event.
The conference this year focuses on ‘Innovation for Sustainability’ – a theme close to Dubai’s thriving business community – in order to cement the emirate’s position as a global business hub and a smart city. The forum will also emphasise why best practices and benchmarking is essential to help organisations expedite their progress and become more enterprising.

The conference will be attended by local experts as well as guest speakers from abroad who will present best practices from international award winning companies.
