Friday 04 March 2016

Dubai – MENA Herald: Experts in leisure marine activities have been sharing their knowledge and experience with visitors at Dubai International Boat Show, in the annual series of Marine Talks. Held in partnership with Outdoor UAE magazine, the talks cover a diverse range of topics. They offer an introduction to popular water sports available in the UAE, and more unusual ones as well.

The list of sports covered aims to fit a range of fitness and skill levels, and areas of personal interest, including snorkelling and diving, underwater photography for beginners, fishing, SUP and kayaking, kite surfing and windsurfing, and what is described as the “ultimate team sport”, dragonboating. A special talk on the first day of the show looked at ways to empower women to take water adventures in the UAE.

Marine Talks sessions are held in the Outdoor Display Area of Dubai International Boat Show and begin after sunset.
