Kuwait – MENA Herald: KidZania Kuwait, the exciting kid-sized metropolis, invites all children to join its “Kids for a Greener World” art and photography competition for a chance to express their love for the environment and win rewarding prizes!

Held in partnership with the Ministry of Education from March 10-28, 2016, the competition will be hosted in line with the annual “Kids for a Greener World” Program which aims at teaching kids about the best eco-friendly practices through various activities taking place around the KidZania Facility.

The competition gives kids of two age groups, 7-9 and 10-12 years, the opportunity to put their creativity skills to test by drawing/painting or clicking a photo that represents their understanding of a green environment and how to protect planet Earth.

All project entries will be submitted at the designated competition drop-boxes at the KidZania Airport Area throughout the competition period. Qualified submissions will then be shortlisted by a judging panel comprising of educational and art experts from the Ministry of Education and the Department of Private Education, the American University of Kuwait, the American United School of Kuwait and KidZania’s management team.

The top 80 submissions will be selected and displayed at the “Kids for a Greener World” Exhibition to be held at the Avenues Mall, while the top 4 winners will receive exciting prizes from KidZania including valuable birthday packages, KidZania entry tickets and certificates of appreciation. They will also be invited to be part of the awards and ribbon cutting ceremony to officially commence the exhibition and recognize winning projects.

KidZania Kuwait is a children-sized city that uses ‘Edutainment’, a concept that combines education with entertainment to help develop children’s independent thinking skills while nurturing their creativity and self-esteem.
