Dubai – MENA Herald: Qindeel Printing and Publishing Services, one of the investment projects of Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum Foundation (MBRF), is participating in London Book Fair 2016, from April 12 to 14. This is the second year of its participation in the leading book fair.
His Highness Dr. Sheikh Sultan bin Mohammed Al Qasimi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Sharjah, visited the MBRF pavilion, accompanied by His Excellency Mohammed Al Murr. MBRF handed a copy of the book, Sefr Almajd (Glory Chapter: Hero’s Tale) to His Highness Dr. Sheikh Sultan to mark its launch at the book fair. The book narrates the heroic deeds of the UAE martyrs and their childhood experiences as described by their families.
HE Jamal bin Huwaireb, Managing Director of MBRF, said the participation of Qindeel at the London Book Fair has come as an opportunity to build relations with international publishing houses and promote MBRF’s publications. It is also a platform for Qindeel to highlight its efforts in the field of publishing and the leading role of MBRF in the dissemination of knowledge in the world.
“Qindeel is participating in London Book Fair for the second consecutive year as part of MBRF’s strategy to promote cultural exchanges with countries of the world, and share experiences in the production and transfer of knowledge in line with our efforts to build a knowledge based society,” HE Bin Huwaireb said.
During the book fair, MBRF – a member of the Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum Global Initiatives – will discuss ways of cooperation with international and Arab publishing houses, and share best experiences in the fields of electronic publishing and copyright management.
Qindeel’s participation in the London Book Fair follows its successful participation in Riyadh International Book Fair last month. Qindeel has been participating in most international and regional book exhibitions, either directly or through an authorised agent of a specialised publishing house, to promote books released by MBRF. Through its participations, Qindeel has also been successful in communicating with the public, readers and authors, and establishing partnerships with publishing houses.
London Book Fair is celebrating its 45th anniversary this year. The leading book fair has emerged as a global marketplace for rights negotiation and sale and distribution of content across print, audio, TV, film and digital channels. Held annually, London Book Fair is witnessing the participation of more than 25,000 publishing professionals.
