Dubai - MENA Herald: Bay Square, a mixed-use project developed and managed by Dubai Properties, today announced the grand launch of the first signature UFC GYM in the Middle East at Business Bay, one of the most renowned destinations where people can live, work and play, developed and managed by Dubai Properties (DP). The Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) GYM is a brand extension of the biggest global brand for mixed martial arts (MMA) combined with fitness. The 22,000 sq.ft facility located on the podium level of Bay Square offers residents and visitors of Dubai the opportunity to be part of the renowned UFC community.
The much-anticipated franchise spans more than 22,000 sq.ft of gym space, featuring the very first Octagon in the Middle East - UFC’s fighting cage. The gym offers a full-range of functional fitness classes, group and private mixed martial arts (MMA) training, group fitness, personal and group dynamic performance-based training, and MMA youth programming that members of all fitness levels and ages can enjoy.

Members of the facility will experience UFC GYM Train Different approach using different training techniques inspired by UFC athletes. Membership includes unlimited access to UFC Octagon and signature classes such as Daily Ultimate Training (DUT), TRX, Muay Thai, Brazilian jiu-jitsu, kickboxing, boxing, mixed martial arts conditioning, women’s self-defence, as well as group fitness classes such as zumba, yoga, Cycle Circuit and more.
Since debuting in 2009, UFC Gym has opened more than 120 locations throughout the United States, Australia and Canada. The fitness franchise has continued to grow at a pace, opening more than 50 locations in the past two years and more than 100 clubs expected to open in the next year.
UFC Gym at Bay Square, is now operational, and enrolment programmes are open for public along with facility tours.
