Dubai – MENA Herald: Emerson today officially opened the Emerson Solutions Center and Education Center in Jebel Ali Free Zone in Dubai, UAE.

The Centers, spanning a total of 5,000-square-feet, are located at Emerson’s Middle East and Africa headquarters, which is also home to manufacturing and service facilities for automation solutions including process control and safety systems, measurement and analytical instruments, control valves and final control technologies.

The Solutions Center, the first facility of its kind in the region, provides customers with an immersive, hands-on experience of the latest technology for operations management. Equipped with innovations such as augmented reality and 3D imaging, and installed with Emerson’s latest automation technologies, the Center provides an integrated, fully collaborative platform that enables users to have a complete picture of what is happening in their operations and consequently make informed decisions.

At the Solutions Center, customers can interact with Emerson’s local and remote experts, as well as with their own executives and operations staff to discuss challenges, develop application solutions, manage projects, and troubleshoot problems, regardless of location. The facility can connect to other Emerson’s facilities around the world and to customers’ production sites to enable data exchange and remote collaboration.

The Education Center strengthens Emerson’s capability in helping customers train their new hires, improve the skills of current workforce, and adapt to new technologies. Delivering courses in the entire spectrum of the automation discipline, the facility maximizes learning through hands-on demos and training on actual technologies and systems. Each student is provided with dedicated resources such as field instruments, I/Os, control and safety system simulators, and wireless technologies, allowing them to apply what they have learned in real-life operations environment faster and efficiently.

The Education Center can host virtual classrooms where certified instructors deliver training live and online, and customize training programs through a blended learning approach that combines both classroom and online instruction. Lastly, the facility is connected to the network of Emerson training centers around the world, bringing together students and experts regardless of location.

“The opening of our Solutions and Education Centers demonstrate Emerson’s lasting commitment to our customers across the Middle East and Africa region, offering them the opportunity to explore and solve their business challenges by experiencing and implementing the latest automation technologies,” said Dave Tredinnick, President, Emerson Process Management Middle East and Africa.
