Abu Dhabi – MENA Herald: Abu Dhabi Fund for Development (ADFD) yesterday launched the second cycle of its Internal Excellence Award program as part of its mission to promote a culture of excellence and innovation among its employees and support the strategic vision of the Government of Abu Dhabi.
Announcing the launch of the award, His Excellency Mohammed Saif Al Suwaidi, Director General of ADFD, said: “This excellence award reflects our commitment to pursuing exceptional achievement and elevating performance levels across all ADFD departments. It enjoys the support of our wise leadership and the guidance of His Highness Sheikh Mansour Bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Prime Minister, Minister for Presidential Affairs and Chairman of ADFD.”
The award will recognize ADFD employees in six categories: the excellent administrative employee, the excellent technician, the excellent support employee, the excellent specialist employee, the excellent long-serving employee, and the excellent new employee. The award also comprises three group categories including excellent projects and excellent work teams that have three sub-categories.
In addition to improving the performance and productivity levels of ADFD employees, the excellence award seeks to encourage a healthy spirit of competition across all ADFD departments and enhance employees’ capacities, skills, and knowledge. This will positively reflect on departmental efficiency and overall performance, while preparing ADFD employees for participation in Abu Dhabi Award for Excellence in Government Performance (ADAEP).
