DEWA donates AED 3.6 million to Bayt Fel Jannah campaign

Dubai - MENA Herald: HE Saeed Mohammed Al Tayer, MD & CEO of Dubai Electricity and Water Authority (DEWA), presented to Dr. Hamad bin Al Sheikh Ahmed Al Sheibani, Director General of the Islamic Affairs and Charitable Activities Department in Dubai, a AED 3.6 million cheque for the Bayt Fel Janna (Home at Paradise) campaign, launched by the Islamic Affairs and Charitable Activities Department in Dubai, to construct a mosque at Dubai Sports City.
The campaign aims to improve charity in the Emirate and enable individuals, and government and private organisations to contribute to building 17 new mosques across Dubai.
Al Tayer highlighted DEWA’s commitment to supporting humanitarian and charitable initiatives, and to serve Islam locally and internationally. DEWA considers these activities to be a major part of its social role as a government organisation. This supports DEWA’s strategy to enhance their Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) and instil the values of giving, solitude, and unity.
