Dubai South launches ‘Ramadan Smile’ Initiative

Dubai - MENA Herald: Dubai South has launched the ‘Ramadan Smile’ initiative as part of its CSR outreach during the Holy Month of Ramadan. The initiative will see Dubai South distribute Iftar boxes, Sakany-branded caps and T-shirts to workers of partner organizations, including IKEA, Nestle and Aramex among others, in three waves during the Holy Month of Ramadan.

The health and wellbeing of workers is at the core of Dubai South’s philosophy, having recently launched Sakany, a community concept focused on blue collar workers, built around employee happiness, well-being, and productivity.

Ahmed Al Ansari, Acting CEO at Dubai World Central Corporation “Dubai South”, said: “We launched the Ramadan Smile initiative as a heartfelt thank you to all workers who are helping us make Dubai South a reality. It is an extension of the spirit that is the Sakany staff village, which is designed to foster an active, engaged, and healthy workforce, by offering spacious living quarters in close proximity to superior essential services and amenities.”
