EMS and Omantel Partner for Free Wi-Fi Hotspot Services

Dubai - MENA Herald: EMS, a leading technology and mobility specialist announced its partnership with Omantel to bring free Wi-Fi internet hot-spot service for internet user in the Sultanate of Oman. This Wi-Fi service is available in various public places across Oman and users can connect to these internet hotspots and surf the internet for free. Omantel (Oman Telecommunications Company) is the primary provider of internet services in the country and owns a large network of public Wi-Fi facilities throughout the country, reaching from malls to airports as well as other public places like parks and hospitals with high public footfall. A part of Omantel’s strategy is to lead the innovation and digitalization in the sultanate by offering variety of services and solutions to cover all telecom needs of today’s fast pace world.

In addition, the solution will enable advertisers to strategically reach target audiences to serve them with quality advertisement based on customer’s interest and location. Businesses that offer Omantel’s free Wi-Fi service at their premises will have the option of monetizing the service by allowing advertisements through Omantel Wi-Fi network.
