H.E Saif Humaid Al Falasi, Group CEO of ENOC, said: “Our collaborative efforts with Dubai Police are in line with our commitment to enhance our crisis management and emergency response practices and methodologies and align them with global best practice. We believe these efforts are crucial to improve security measures that ensure the safety and protection of our community and critical infrastructure.”

ENOC and Dubai Police signed an MoU earlier in 2013 with the aim of enhancing knowledge exchange through the implementation of joint training programs, as well as conducting workshops and forums in the fields of EHS and security.

The programme includes trainings in EHS, risk management, incident investigations and environmental awareness organized by ENOC and Dubai Police. Both entities also conducted workshops in emergency response and crisis management, in addition to numerous emergency drills to evaluate and improve the preparedness of both parties in responding to emergencies. In addition, ENOC’s EHS team is continuously working with Dubai Police to provide technical support and consultation related to EHS requirements in the oil and gas field.

Both entities also expressed their commitment towards ensuring business continuity and safety of the community as a whole by maximizing efforts to reinforce safety and security standards for the energy sector in Dubai.
