Mövenpick Hotel Ibn Battuta Gate has committed to being a sustainable and socially responsible property through the adaption of various ecological practices and applications.
The property aspires towards the conservation of energy and water resources, the implementation and utilization of new technology, of which is powered by renewable energy sources whenever possible, reducing operational costs and the property’s carbon footprint as well as making positive contributions to local communities and their environment.
With these initiativesin mind, the hotel’s owning company, Seven Tides, has installed an electric car charging station in an effort to reduce the Emirate’s carbon footprint and to encourage the use of renewable energy alternatives.
The recharging point located atMövenpick Hotel Ibn Battuta Gate isone of only two available docks in Dubai that are located within a hotel. The charging station is capable of charging two cars simultaneously and is available free of charge for electric vehicle drivers with a green card charger.
