Doha - MENA Herald: From 9 to 16 October, the State of Qatar will host the Road World Championships organized by the Union Cycliste Internationale - UCI. Doha will welcome around 1,000 racers from 75 countries and more than 5,700 participants from national federations, delegations, technicians and journalists, in addition to around 30,000 aficionados and millions of spectators all over the world.
Mapei, worldwide leader in the manufacturing of adhesives, sealants and chemical products for building, will be there to renew its long-standing relationship as UCI’s MAIN SPONSOR. The event is a nine-day competition that pits top-class cyclists against each other in individual time trials, team time trials and road races, divided by category.
