Dubai - MENA Herald: Al-Futtaim Motors, the leader in sustainable mobility and exclusive distributor of Lexus in the UAE, has revealed that year-on-year growth in the brand’s hybrid offering has grown by an impressive 180% by October 2016, in comparison to the same period in 2015. The growth can be attributed to the very competitive pricing of hybrid models compared to their petrol equivalents, driving more people to adopt greener vehicles.
Earlier this year, Lexus International announced that the brand has sold over 1 million hybrid vehicles globally since the world’s first hybrid luxury car, the RX 400h, went on sale in April 2005. This year also saw the introduction of the all-new Lexus RX h in the UAE, joining the line-up of hybrid vehicles sold by Al-Futtaim Motors which encompasses the LS h, GS h, RX h and CT h, making up the largest line-up of luxury hybrid vehicles sold in the country.
