Abu Dhabi - MENA Herald: Tadweer (The Center of Waste Management-Abu Dhabi) is participating at the Sultan Bin Zayed Heritage Festival 2017 as a logistic partner. Tadweer is providing full cleaning services to the festival and setting a stand that offers a variety of activities and awareness programs for visitors of different nationalities and ages, with the objective of delivering valuable awareness messages to the society.
H.E. Eisa Saif Al Qubaisi General Manager of Tadweer said, “Tadweer’s participation at Sultan Bin Zayed Heritage Festival 2017, organized by Emirates Heritage Club in Sweihan, Al Ain, is part of the Tadweer’s important role in developing waste management services in a safe, efficient and economical way across the Emirate of Abu Dhabi. Our objective at Tadweer is to operate in line with Abu Dhabi Vision and Plan and contribute towards maintaining a healthy balance between the Capital’s culture and heritage and its urban development”.
Al Qubaisi highlighted that during the event, Tadweer will be showcasing its projects and services to further educate its visitors on waste segregation at source, public health pest control, and the importance of reducing waste, how to re-use and recycle it. Tadweer will provide supervisors, workers, mechanisms and all the required cleaning equipment before, during and after the festival.
During its participation at the Sultan Bin Zayed Heritage Festival 2017, Tadweer will focus on public health pest and stray animal control, as well as cleaning all the festival’s areas which include camel and horse racing, traditional products market, activities for children and the public, in addition to collecting waste directly from the festival area, and providing waste containers and discharging them on a daily basis.
Tadweer is participating at Sultan Bin Zayed Heritage Festival 2017 alongside Al Foah, Averda Waste Management, Abu Dhabi Community Police, Abu Dhabi Food Control Authority and Emergency and Safety services.
