University of Dubai graduates new batch of students in Human Resources Management Diploma

Dubai – MENA Herald: Center for Executive Development at University of Dubai held a certificate awards ceremony for 23 students who earned the Human Resource Management (HRM) Professional Diploma at the University of Dubai and accredited by Knowledge and Human Development Authority (KHDA) in Dubai.

Dr. Eesa M. Bastaki, President of University of Dubai, congratulated the students and said “Strategic human resources are key to the success of organisations at the local and international levels. UD is proud of the commitment of its students to knowledge and learning, he reminded them that their professional diploma is unique because it is issued by a university that prides itself with quality and international qualifications.”

On the occasion, Dr. Vidya Nandagopal, director of CED, commended the students, stating: “We are proud of you and your achievements. You have successfully completed a four-month long KHDA accredited programme which covered topics including Principles of HRM, Planning, Recruitment and Selection, UAE Employment Law and Legal Aspects, Strategic Compensation and Employee Benefit, Training and Development, Performance Management and Employment Relations and Risk Management.”

Three students also spoke during the ceremony and thanked UD for this unique and practical programme. Michelle Lauzon said: “This achievement would not have been possible without the dedication of our passionate and professional instructors.”

Baturay Erol said: “Studying this course at UD, provided me with the opportunity to meet and exchange ideas with many students in my field. My views on the subjects have been widened, especially since the classroom consisted of many nationalities.”

Javez Olagunju said: “It has been a wonderful experience for me since the time I contacted CED to study HRM. We were put through several group discussions and individual assignments, which have contributed to shaping our future.”

CED this year graduated the largest batch of HRM graduates, and is currently enrolling for both English and Arabic HRM Professional Diploma programmes.
