Kuwait National Cinema Company Launches #SpiritofKuwait Campaign

Kuwait - MENA Herald: Kuwaiti National Cinema Company (KNCC) recently launched a public awareness campaign titled "Spirit of Kuwait" which celebrates the human rights, legal and moral foundations on which the State of Kuwait was founded, as well as the country’s exemplary constitution that enshrines the values ​​of justice and equality among individuals. The campaign expresses the nation’s gratitude to everyone who has contributed to the continued development and prosperity of the nation without discrimination. The campaign includes a series of outdoor and print media vignettes, as well as videos that will be shown on KNCC’s screens.
"We launched this campaign based on our belief in the role of the private sector and its social and humanitarian responsibility to serve the State of Kuwait,” said Ahmed Al Osaimi, CEO of KNCC. "It also comes as part of our commitment to spreading the positive social and moral values ​​that Kuwaiti society has been built on since its inception."
The campaign is comprised of several vignettes, the first of which highlights article #29 of the Kuwaiti constitution which states that people are equal in human dignity and rights regardless of race, origin, language or religion. The remaining vignettes show images representing Kuwaiti individuals thanking expatriates of diverse backgrounds for their contribution to Kuwait's rise and prosperity.
"The country’s contemporary history is characterized by its openness to the world and its welcome of many expatriate communities who all make their lives here,” added Al Osaimi. “The campaign is dedicated to all those who have contributed towards the development of Kuwait and its society, and is a reminder of the human and moral values on which our beloved country was based, and an invitation for everyone to participate in expressing these values and feelings of gratitude.”
The campaign includes a dedicated hashtag #SpiritofKuwait, which was launched on social media as a focal point for participation through photographs, comments and videos that embody the message of the campaign, to reaffirm the commitment of society to the country’s values and ideals, and encourage the youth to embrace and practice them in their daily lives.
