Carrier to Serve as Platinum Sponsor of Climate Abu Dhabi Exhibition

Abu Dhabi - MENA Herald: Carrier, a world leader in high technology heating, ventilating, air conditioning and refrigeration (HVACR) solutions, will serve as platinum sponsor of Climate Abu Dhabi, the HVACR exhibition to be held in Abu Dhabi from Oct. 3-5. Carrier, which operates in the United Arab Emirates through UTS Carrier, a joint venture company between United Technical Services (UTS) and Carrier Corporation, is part of UTC Climate, Controls & Security, a unit of United Technologies Corp. (NYSE:UTX).
The exhibition attracts HVACR professionals and industry experts to showcase innovations and advancements in energy efficient building and cooling technology, and expects to attract thousands of visitors over three days.

At the event, Carrier will showcase its portfolio of products including a new line of energy-efficient residential and light commercial HVAC systems that use the environmentally balanced refrigerant, Puron®. Carrier will also exhibit its high-efficiency hi-wall unit, which uses inverter technology and offers super energy efficiency ratings with greatly reduced energy consumption and improved performance in new elegant design options. The launch also includes the new Desert Master™ rooftop package, Eurovent certified Airovision™ air handling unit and a new variable refrigerant flow unit which offers amongst the highest energy efficiency ratings in this product segment including compliance with ESMA (Emirates Authority for Standardization and Metrology), and QCC (Abu Dhabi’s Quality and Conformity Council). Additionally planned for display is the Carrier Comfort™ Series Wi-Fi Thermostat which is designed to give remote access via mobile applications and PC, and also uses intelligent software that can help reduce energy use and utility costs. The units are all designed and built to efficiently operate at Middle East high ambient temperatures and will all be compliant to the local mandatory regulations governing air conditioning equipment.
