Famous chefs captivate visitors to malls with live demonstrations

Dubai – MENA Herald: Visitors to leading malls in Dubai have been charmed by well known chefs staging live cooking demonstrations and offering valuable tips to further enhance the festive ambience during the ongoing Dubai Food Festival.

On Thursday 3 March, Chef Silvena Rowe, the successful author and TV personality, gave demonstrations at Mall of the Emirates while on the same day fans of Indian food got the chance to watch and learn from the young MasterChef India 2015 winner Nikita Gandhi at cooking demonstrations at Ibn Battuta Mall.

Chef Nikita also was in action on Friday 4 March 2016 at City Centre Deira while MasterChef New Zealand winner Tim Read hosted live cooking demonstrations at Mall of the Emirates and then later at Ibn Battuta Mall.

Fans of local hero, Emirati Chef Bader Najeeb Al Awadhi, were able to share his mouthwatering creations at City Centre Mirdif .

Dubai Food Festival 2016, which is organised by the Dubai Festivals and Retail Establishment (DFRE), an agency of the Department of Tourism and Commerce Marketing (DTCM), runs until 12 March under the theme ’Celebrate Taste’.
