Ras Al Khaimah – MENA Herald: Falcon Technologies International (“FTI”) has appointed Mr Michael Gutowski as Chief Executive Officer. Michael brings on board over 20 years of experience in the optical media industry including as CEO of Infodisc Technology in Europe which he developed into one of the leading players in the region. In addition to his executive positions, Michael also served on the boards of Colonial Purchasing LLC and Mediatech. Michael started his professional career in the entertainment industry working for Deluxe Video Services.
Michael’s appointment clearly underscores the commitment of the FTI Board and shareholders to continue supporting and developing FTI into a global leader in optical storage. Sheikh Ahmed bin Saqr Al Qasimi, Chairman of the Board of Directors welcomed Michael to the new role saying: “we are confident that under Michael’s leadership, FTI will consolidate its position as the preferred supplier of high quality optical media solutions which cater to the requirement of demanding professional customers around the world”.
FTI was established in Ras Al Khaimah in 2005 as a premium optical media manufacturer to serve the requirements of professional customers in duplication, medical and healthcare imaging, and archival solutions. Operating a 15,000 sqm clean room at the highest international standards, the company is ISO certified and has developed professional partnerships with prestigious international counterparties such as TDK, Mitsubishi Kagaku Media, Philips or JVC Kenwood.
