The Forum was launched in the Year of Innovation in 2015 to offer a thought leadership perspective on the industry and the growing opportunities and impact of digital transformation, artificial intelligence and robotic process automation in the private and public sector. The purpose of the forum is to align the industry with the National Innovation Strategy of the UAE and offer viable methods wherein the shared services and outsourcing industry adapts to the new innovation landscape.

“The digital transformation that we are seeing across industries underlines the growing importance of technology in economies of the future. Underscoring this is a robust outsourcing industry which drives business continuity and growth across the value chain. As the world’s second largest outsourcing market, the MENA region is poised to reach $7 billion by 2018. This growing industry plays a pivotal role in enabling the growth of a multitude of industries through the provision of rapid access to talent, increased agility, and improved quality of service delivery. We at Dubai Outsource City realise the integral role that this industry plays in achieving the goals of a diversified economy and nurturing the innovative component in the ICT industry and hence offer a vibrant community that enables and connects the public and private sector and encourages an entrepreneurial atmosphere to ignite the growth of new and innovative solutions,” said Ammar Al Malik, Executive Director, Dubai Outsource City.
