Vinay Malhotra appointed as COO - Middle East & South Asia, VFS Global

Dubai – MENA Herald: Mr Vinay Malhotra has been appointed as Chief Operating Officer (COO) - Middle East and South Asia, VFS Global, effective January 2017. He takes on additional responsibilities of overseeing operations in the Middle East region, in addition to his current role of managing South Asia. In this new role, Vinay will be based in Dubai, and responsible for the core visa business and B2C services for the travel industry, managing key client relationships, and business development in the two regions.
Mr Malhotra is a commerce graduate (with Honours) from Delhi University, and also holds an MBA degree, with merit, from Bradford University, UK.
Prior to joining VFS Global in 2013, Mr Malhotra served Emirates Airline for over 10 years overseeing airport as well as commercial operations in North India, East India & Nepal. Mr Malhotra’s career spans over almost 25 years in the travel industry, which includes instrumental roles at Swissair and Galileo. He has several awards and accolades to his credit including ‘Best Professional – Marketing for the year 2011’ at the National Tourism Awards hosted by Safari India and the Pacific Area Travel Writers Association.
