Abu Dhabi - MENA Herald: Abu Dhabi National Insurance Company (ADNIC), one of the region’s leading multi-line insurance providers for individuals and corporates, today announced its support to Al Bayt Mitwahid Association for the third consecutive year. Al Bayt Mitwahid, which was launched by the employees of the Abu Dhabi Crown Prince Court in 2012, has since become the foremost association of its kind dedicated to community welfare initiatives within the UAE.

ADNIC has been a proud partner of Al Bayt Mitwahid for over three years. Commenting on the continued sponsorship, Abdulla Al Nuaimi, Chief Officer – Shared Services, ADNIC, said, “The continued partnership with Al Bayt Mitwahid Association is reflective of ADNIC’s commitment to support welfare initiatives across a range of causes and is in line with our ongoing social responsibility goals. As one of the oldest insurance companies in the region, ADNIC continues to foster a spirit of corporate citizenship and grow its contribution to the broader national agenda of the UAE.”

Abdulla Al Neyadi, Chairman of Al Bayt Mitwahid's Executive Committee said: “ADNIC has been a long-standing partner of ours and we are pleased to have their continued confidence in our abilities as a community association. We work on a number of different initiatives across all the emirates and private sector participation is critical to making impact on the ground. For our 2016 campaign, we look forward to further expanding the scope of our partnership with the private sector.”

In 2013, Al Bayt Mitwahid Association funded and spearheaded the successful launch of seven sustainable community initiatives, one in each emirate; including the development of seven feed-product hydroponic farms in Ajman, a fish reserve comprised of 500 submerged reef balls in Fujairah, and a mentorship initiative for university students in Abu Dhabi. In 2014, a total 10 projects were supported, including three-UAE wide initiatives. The Building Bridges initiative, launched in 2014, aims to provide moral support to the elderly, disabled, orphaned and hospitalized through regular visits to centres and hospitals.
In addition to sponsoring Al Bayt Mitwahid Association, ADNIC is a participant in ABSHER, an initiative designed to enhance Emirati participation in the private sector workforce. Previously, ADNIC has launched a motor safety awareness campaign to promote safer driving practices in the UAE.

Al Bayt Mitwahid Association provides an open platform for UAE communities to give back to society by taking part in creating, fundraising, planning and implementing creative and caring initiatives that benefit a wide range of social causes.
