Dubai – MENA Herald: For the 6th consecutive year, Dubai Electricity and Water Authority (DEWA) is sponsoring Hajj for a number of its staff, across different departments. DEWA has provided participants with the basic Hajj needs. It has distributed first-aid kits, umbrellas, and other Hajj requirements on them.

“DEWA carries out different activities and programmes that support its staff, achieve their psychological stability, and relieve their financial burden. This achieves their comfort and makes them happier. These activities also contribute to creating a positive work environment that enhances productivity and promotes organisational excellence in DEWA. They support DEWA’s corporate social responsibility and its commitment to making its staff happier,” said HE Saeed Mohammed Al Tayer, MD & CEO of DEWA.

“DEWA sponsors Hajj for its staff each year because of the great role such initiatives play in increasing job satisfaction, stability, and loyalty. They also consolidate loyalty and belonging and instil Islamic values among staff,” added Al Tayer.

Staff who have been selected to perform Hajj this year, thanked DEWA and commended the support and care they receive from DEWA’s management, both personally and professionally.
