Ajman Tourism heads to Europe for a three-city roadshow to boost tourism

Ajman - MENA Herald: The Ajman Tourism Development Department (ATDD) will embark on a one week road show to three European countries starting 16th May in a bid to boost tourism in the Emirate during the second half of the year.

Officials of ATDD headed by HE Faisal Al Nuaimi, General Manager and Yamina Aoucher, Director of Tourism Development & Marketing Department will be joined by representatives from Kempinski Ajman, Ajman Saray, and the Ramada Ajman in visiting Prague in the Czech Republic on 16th May, followed by Warsaw in Poland on 18th May and Budapest in Hungary on 20th May.

The delegation will meet with potential partners and network with industry stakeholders to present the emirate of Ajman as a safe family, business and leisure destination. The group will highlight the many activities, events, attractions and accommodations that are available in Ajman to both business and leisure travelers from the continent.

HE Faisal Al Nuaimi commented: “Europe is a vital market for Ajman. Every year we are seeing an increase in the number of European visitors to Ajman. In 2015, more than 45,000 Europeans have visited Ajman and stayed longer than other nationalities. This means there is something in Ajman that attracts them to come and stay. Therefore, our aim for this road show is to speak directly to our target market through existing clients and seek new partners to boost the numbers of European visitors to the emirate for the second half of the year.”

The three countries that the delegation will be visiting are also rich in history, heritage and culture which are all present in Ajman. “We will present the diverse offerings in Ajman and inform them that our close proximity to the other emirates will allow them to explore and discover the cities and experience true Arabian hospitality,” added Al Nuaimi.

The delegation will present the latest promotional video of Ajman to the European travel industry as well as the new website www.ajman.travel, where industry partners can learn about the latest events and upcoming projects in the Emirate. In addition, hotel representatives will be highlighting their summer promotions including special packages to attract more visitors to the individual properties.
