Ajman Tourism organizes city tour for students of Ajman University

Ajman - MENA Herald: In a bid to educate students about the emirate of Ajman’s famous touristic destination and increase awareness of local tourism, the Ajman Tourism Development Department (ATDD) has organised city sightseeing tours for students of Ajman University.

The two-day tour coincides with the opening of the new academic year and a total of 400 students visited the emirate’s main popular attractions and heritage landmarks on board Ajman’s city sightseeing tour buses. The students were divided into two groups and tours were conducted in the morning and in the afternoon.

ATDD provided specialized tour guides to offer insights about each landmark. Some of the places visited by the students are the Al Zorah project, Ajman Museum, the traditional fish market, Ajman Corniche and other popular tourist attractions, ending their journey by returning safely to Ajman University.

HE Faisal Al Nuaimi, General Manager of ATDD said: “As we start the new academic year, it is vital that our students learn about the emirate’s main popular attractions. Our objective is to encourage the students to promote tourism and contribute to the emirate’s sustainable development. Letting the students discover the beauty of Ajman is part of our vision for Ajman 2021 to create a happy society that is involved in building our country and this should start in the academic level.”

The students praised ATDD in organizing the sightseeing tour, and lauded the excellent level of services that was provided while on board of Ajman tourism bus, pointing out that it was more than a wonderful journey, as they earned an opportunity to discover the beauty of Ajman, with utmost motivation to enter the new academic year.

Many of the students expressed their desires to recreate this remarkable tourism experience along with their family and friends.
