Al Habtoor Group Chairman Welcomes the New Dutch Consul General in Dubai

Dubai - MENA Herald: Khalaf Ahmad Al Habtoor, Chairman, Al Habtoor Group welcomed His Excellency Hans Sandee, the new Consul General of the Kingdom of the Netherlands in Dubai. The meeting took place at the Al Habtoor Group head office on Al Wasl Road on Thursday 8 September 2016. His Excellency Sandee started his four-year tenure in August this year.
Chairman Al Habtoor wished him well in his new position, and said he would like the Consul General to encourage more Dutch companies to the UAE. “The UAE is an investor haven,” he said. “It provides endless opportunities to businessmen and women. In addition, the infrastructure in the UAE is unrivalled; we have the best of everything.”
The Chairman also briefed His Excellency about the latest development throughout the Al Habtoor Group of companies, including the Group’s latest landmark projects – Al Habtoor City and The Al Habtoor Polo Resort & Club currently on show at Cityscape Global. “We are building new lifestyle destinations in Dubai. They are attracting people from all over the world.” He added, “Al Habtoor City incorporates tourism, leisure and residential. The Hotel Collection, which incorporates three luxury brands - The St. Regis Dubai, W Dubai – Al Habtoor City, and The Westin Dubai, Al Habtoor City – is a new landmark in the City.”
