Dubai - MENA Herald: axiom telecom has been recognized with a prestigious award for its commitment to redefining the retail experience and unrivalled approach to customer care.

The Middle East’s largest and most influential mobility retailer and distributor was yesterday crowned ‘Super Retailer of the Year’ at the 2016 edition Reseller Middle East Partner Excellence Awards.

“We are truly honored to have received this esteemed recognition,” said Fahad Al Bannai, CEO of axiom.

“Technology is a fast-paced industry, one that requires retailers to always stay ahead of the curve in order to succeed while placing the customer at the front-and-center of everything they do – and this is the principle we live by at axiom. The valuable relationships we have established within our channel community has played a pivotal role in our success. We promise to continue innovating, improving, and enhancing our services to meet and exceed the expectations of our tech-savvy customers.”

axiom’s award comes off the back of a highly successful 18 months. Earlier this year, the retailer launched its new ‘experiential’ store concept at The Dubai Mall in the UAE, as well as Hayat Mall, Salma Mall, and Hera Mall in KSA. The concept, which includes live demo stations, a first-of-its-kind gadget customization zone coined ‘X-Customs’, and unrivalled customer support, proved to be a big hit with shoppers, resulting in a 30 per cent increase in footfall at its store in Dubai.

Much of axiom’s impressive performance also boils down to its ability to debut must-have devices ahead of the competition. The retailer now works with 12 world-leading brands, from the high-end devices produced by Apple and Samsung, to mid-segment phones from HTC, Huawei, and Lenovo, as well as the affordable ‘Four’ range of smartphones and feature phones.

axiom’s recently launched customer service innovations include Damage Insurance, Priority Repair, and Mobile Security -- offering customers protection from out-of-warranty damage, catering to the region’s demand for quick, hassle-free troubleshooting, and serving the growing need for reliable protection of personal information.

As part of its community outreach efforts, the trailblazer also launched the first official pan-Emirates school football league, ‘Stars of Tomorrow’, which is designed to promote healthy competition, cultivate an active lifestyle among students, and identify and develop home-grown talent.
