Deutsche Bank appoints Thomas Haag as General Manager Abu Dhabi Branch

Abu Dhabi - MENA Herald: Deutsche Bank today announced the appointment of Thomas Haag as General Manager of Deutsche Bank AG Abu Dhabi Branch, effective immediately. Based in Abu Dhabi, he will join the Bank’s UAE Executive Committee.
As General Manager of Abu Dhabi branch, Mr. Haag will have oversight over all activities regulated by the UAE Central Bank. He will work closely with divisional and infrastructure business heads to ensure a seamless delivery of the Bank’s products and services to clients whilst ensuring strict compliance with local regulatory requirements.
Mr. Haag has spent his entire career with Deutsche Bank Group. He has worked in Relationship Management, Branch Management, Corporate Banking and Credit Risk Management. He was Co-Head and Chief Country Officer, Deutsche Bank Prague Branch in the Czech Republic from 1996 through to 2001 and was CEO and Chief Country Officer for Deutsche Bank (Malta) Ltd. and Deutsche Holding Malta from 2010 until 2014. Prior to his appointment in the UAE, he was a Director based in the Bank’s Frankfurt head office.
