DEWA and Dubai Land Department build closer ties

Dubai – MENA Herald: HE Saeed Mohammed Al Tayer, MD & CEO of Dubai Electricity and Water Authority (DEWA) met with HE Sultan Butti Bin Mejren, Director General of the Dubai Land Department (DLD). The two officials discussed ways to combine efforts to improve the infrastructure, and the services provided to investors and developers in the real estate sector, to the highest international standards.
The officials also discussed different subjects of interest to Dubai-based developers, in addition to introducing new facilities to achieve the Dubai Plan 2021, which will transform Dubai into a smart, integrated, and connected city, creating the infrastructure to support the economy, and other social aspects of the Emirate at a world-class level, in regard to quality, efficiency, and meeting the needs of the community.
Al Tayer noted the importance of cooperation between DEWA and DLD, emphasising the positive effects of strong relations and strategic partnerships in pursuit of success, excellence, and business, to support sustainable development in Dubai, and the UAE.
