Dubai - MENA Herald: Emirates National Oil Company (ENOC) has launched its latest lubricant products; ENOC VULCAN 990X EXLD and ENOC VULCAN 999X ENERGY heavy duty diesel engine oils for heavy vehicles and plant machinery. Designed to enhance engine performance and improve fuel economy, the products will also contribute significant cost-savings for users.

The VULCAN products are manufactured based on the latest American Petroleum Institute specifications API CK-4 for heavy duty diesel engine oils - the industry’s first category upgrade in a decade, ushering in higher performance and efficiencies for all users. The newly launched products will help heavy vehicles cover long trans-border journeys and build fleet management confidence without having to drain oil at shorter intervals. The oils will also ensure longer maintenance periods for diesel engines. ENOC Vulcan 999X Energy has been specifically engineered to provide proven fuel efficiency benefits.

H.E Saif Humaid Al Falasi, Group CEO, ENOC: “We are committed to offering best in class products and solutions that meet and exceed our customer’s expectations. Our launch of the VULCAN products makes us the first organisation in the Middle East to manufacture products using the API CK-4 standards; a milestone we are proud of achieving. The ENOC VULCAN products not only meet industry requirements but are expected to be a game-changer for heavy-vehicles fleet owners and for the diesel-using industrial sector.”

ENOC VULCAN 999X ENERGY utilizes a “Friction Management” technology for heavy duty diesel engine oils, along with the latest global OEM specifications, making it truly multi-fleet product. The product also enables outstanding wear protection for high-powered diesel engines and is also applicable to earlier generation of engines.

VULCAN 999X EXLD is also suitable for agricultural, mining and construction vehicles meeting EU stage IIIA, IIIB and IV and US Tier 4 emissions standards as well as older generation equipment. The ENOC VULCAN 999X EXLD also utilizes an advanced detergent technology (TBN Shield Formula) for long drain intervals without compromising on engine durability leading to savings to fleet customers.

Both products will be available in the UAE from January 2017 and will be eventually rolled out across the rest of the Middle East in Q1 of 2017.
