Mashreq Emriatisation wins Outstanding Performance Award

Dubai - MENA Herald: Recognizing the Bank’s efforts towards Emiratisation, Mashreq recently received the best organization to achieve Outstanding Performance in nationalization for the year 2014 – 2015 during the opening ceremony of the 32nd Meeting of the Council of Ministers of Labor to honor organizations from the private sector. 12 companies across the GCC were awarded with this remarkable award out of which only two organizations were from the UAE and Mashreq is the only Bank to be awarded from the banking industry.

Mashreq maintains one of the highest Emiritisation rates across the Banking industry with 42%. The Bank introduced various programs and developed them to attract and retain UAE Nationals in the bank.

In line with its commitment to continue supporting Emiritisation, Mashreq announced the graduation of the latest batch of UAE Nationals from Mashreq Al Mustaqbal Management Training Program 2015. AbdulAziz Al Ghurair, CEO of Mashreq met with the new group of graduates and discussed with them the experience they have gained during the training.

Al Ghurair spoke about the significant of gaining adequate learning and implementing theory into practical to gain the maximum benefit at workplace. The graduates have been appointed in the Bank’s various departments based on the learning that they have gained. Trainings and mentoring were provided to ensure that they are well-prepared and equipped to manage these roles. The bank’s one year Management Trainee Program is designed to offer necessary training to UAE Nationals and fast track their growth to take up Mid Managerial positions. It is comprised of induction tools, product knowledge, system training, customer service and other soft skills.
