Schneider Electric to demonstrate transformative role of IoT at World Future Energy Summit 2016

Abu Dhabi - MENA Herald: The Internet of Things (IoT) will play a significant role in bringing the world closer to energy efficiency and sustainability, according to Schneider Electric, a global leader in energy management and automation. Articulating its role as frontrunners of IoT applications, the company is gearing up to showcase its cost and energy savings range at its upcoming participation in the World Future Energy Summit, on the sidelines of Abu Dhabi Sustainability Week 2016.

Running from 18 to 21 January at the Abu Dhabi National Exhibition Centre (ADNEC), the World Future Energy Summit will gather key stakeholders from across the world to experience the latest developments in future energy.

Schneider Electric will leverage the high-profile platform to share insights on the company’s new brand strategy ‘Life is ON’ and reiterate its focused approach to innovating and applying best-in-class smart and sustainable solutions across various industries.

Schneider Electric’s showcase, at Hall 5 - Booth 5410, is designed to provide visitors with a glimpse of the company’s exhaustive smart city management portfolio across multiple sectors. Using simulated environments, the company will exhibit some of the most widely accepted solutions across the smart grid, solar, electric vehicle, water management, buildings and utilities segments including smart city integration.

Visitors to the booth will also gain the chance to enter a lucky draw to win a Go Pro camera everyday during the Summit, as well as enroll free-of-cost in Schneider Electric’s online Energy University that gives them access to a library of courses on energy savings and management.

Taking the participation further, Frédéric Abbal, Executive Vice President - Energy Business, Schneider Electric will speak on ‘Building the Utility Provider of Tomorrow’ on the second day of the WFES conference, on 19 January at 4.30 pm.
