Tejar Dubai participates in Dubai Forum for Government's Best Practices

Dubai - MENA Herald: As part of its efforts to promote a culture of entrepreneurship and business excellence among young Emiratis, the Tejar Dubai entrepreneurship development programme, a Dubai Chamber of Commerce and Industry initiative, is participating in the eighth edition of the Dubai Forum for Government's Best Practices held under the theme, Distinguish Government for people happiness’ at the Dubai World Trade Centre on November 2-3. The Tejar Dubai stand which witnessed a large turnout of attendees, provided an interactive platform for the participants to know more about the entrepreneurship development programme’s achievements since its launch a few years ago and its commitment to the directives of H.H. Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, UAE Vice-President and Prime Minister and Ruler of Dubai, which emphasises on fostering the talent of young entrepreneurs. H.E. Hamad Buamim, President and CEO, Dubai Chamber, stated that the ongoing Dubai Forum for Government’s Best Practices is a fitting venue for Tejar Dubai to attract young Emiratis interested in entering the world of entrepreneurship. This Chamber initiative since its launch a short while ago has served as an incubator for young entrepreneurs to hone their entrepreneurial talent while fully preparing them to set up their own business and contribute to the economic growth of the emirate, he said. Essa Al Zaabi, Senior Vice-President, Institutional Support Sector, Dubai Chamber, and General Coordinator of Tejar Dubai, pointed out that the forum provided an ideal platform for Tejar Dubai entrepreneurship development programme to highlight its success story since its formation in 2013 as well as its evolution in offering best of support and services to all its participants in line with the unprecedented economic growth and development of Dubai. The Tejar Dubai entrepreneurship development programme launched by Dubai Chamber in 2013 to help young Emiratis realise their dreams of setting up a business, supports the directives of H.H. Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, UAE Vice-President and Prime Minister and Ruler of Dubai, which emphasises that entrepreneurship is the shortest route to a bright future. Under its three key pillars of assess, assist and attain, the Tejar Dubai initiative provides youth with access to an extensive development programme, including classroom learning, on-site training, mentoring and business advice, as well as networking opportunities with local and international business leaders and access to investment capital.
