Dubai Supreme Council of Energy signs MoU with RWE Middle East

Dubai - MENA Herald: The Dubai Supreme Council of Energy has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with RWE Middle East, a leading advisor in the energy industry, to exchange experiences and learn about the latest global developments in energy. Signing the MoU reflects the Supreme Council’s commitment to enhancing knowledge exchange with leading international organisations.
The agreement lays the foundations for a deeper collaboration with the Dubai Supreme Council of Energy in management services and technical consultation. It allows the Supreme Council to benefit from the RWE Middle East’s global energy experts and consultants, when needed.
The MoU was signed by HE Ahmed Butti Al Muhairbi, Secretary General of the Dubai Supreme Council of Energy, and Pierre Samaties, CEO of RWE Middle East. Taher Diab, Director of Strategy and Planning, Faisal Ali Rashid, Director of Demand Side Management, Omar Al Qurashi, Senior Manager of Corporate Communications and General Services at the Supreme Council, and Fareed Elhadi, Senior Advisor at RWE, were all also present.
“We are pleased to sign the MoU with a global energy organisation. RWE Middle East was involved in developing the Demand Side Management Strategy, and is currently supporting the Supreme Council of Energy in updating the Dubai Integrated Energy Strategy 2030,” said Al Muhairbi.
“We are glad to sign this agreement with the Dubai Supreme Council of Energy. We look forward to future opportunities that benefit both sides,” said Samaties.
