Dubai’s BMA Studio have been honored at the Africa and Arabia Property Awards 2016 which took place at the JW Marriott Marquis Hotel, Dubai on the 22nd September. The Dubai based boutique architect firm were recognized for no less than four of their UAE projects at the awards. BMA Studio were named among the most innovative, exceptional, and ambitious projects of 2016, representing their country on a national stage at the Dubai awards ceremony.
BMA Studio, an ambitious multi-disciplinary firm offers comprehensive services in architecture, interior design and landscape Design for residential, commercial, and institutional clients. The firm maintains a diversified practice and has developed expertise in mixed use apartment buildings as well innovative single use architectural design concepts. While devoted to small and medium scale projects it has extensive experience in both residential and commercial new developments with an emphasis on single residence, retail and mixed use architecture. The firm has completed projects in Dubai, Sharjah and Morocco, and look to the future in expanding their international capability.
BMA Studio were highly commended for four of their projects: The Al Barsha Residence a Multiple Residence Architectural project located in Dubai, The Jumeirah Bay Island Beach House and The Atrium & Farm House, both Single Residences in Dubai and Sharjah respectively, and The Sharjah Showroom for its Retail Unit located in Sharjah, UAE, they await to collect their award later in the year.
BMA Studio which has its registered offices at Gold & Diamond Business Park, Dubai was founded in 2014 by Emirati entrepreneur Khalifa Al Suwaidi and Managing Partner, Iranian born Leila Mohammadi Asl. Leila who graduated from Architectural Association School of Architecture, London. Asl also holds the Creative Director position and was responsible for leading the award winning project design. Together they have high ambitions for the firm and look to reinforce their growing reputation for innovative design concepts.
