Dr. Daniel Yergin to Present ‘Big Picture’ of Industry’s Future to Global Gathering of Petroleum Executives

Abu Dhabi - MENA Herald – The world’s top energy expert, Dr. Daniel Yergin, has been confirmed to deliver the keynote address at the Abu Dhabi International Petroleum Exhibition and Conference (ADIPEC) 2015 later this year, one of the world’s largest energy events and organised by dmg events.

Addressing an exclusive audience of senior level delegates and industry professionals, keynote speaker Dr. Yergin is expected to highlight recent developments in the areas of conventional and unconventional hydrocarbon resources, including shale gas and tight oil.

Vice Chairman of IHS, Founder of Cambridge Energy Research Associates, and CNBC Global Energy Expert, Dr. Yergin will also offer keen insights on challenges and opportunities to meeting the ever-growing global energy demand.

Dr. Yergin received the Pulitzer Prize in 1992 for The Prize: the Epic Quest for Oil Money and Power, which became a number one New York Times best seller and has been translated into 17 languages.

ADIPEC 2015 is hosting its largest-ever conference programme, with the Society of Petroleum Engineers organising two CEO Plenary sessions, six panel sessions, 79 technical sessions, as well as three industry breakfast and three topical lunch sessions.  As part of the overall conference offering, dmg events is organising the opening ceremony and keynote address, two Ministerial sessions, in addition to tailored content that compliments the new expansion of the exhibition floor for the Offshore, Marine & Heavy Equipment zone.  dmg events is also organising the Women in Industry conference taking place on Sunday, 8 November at the Eastern Mangroves Hotel & Spa by Anantara, as well as exclusive content for the Middle East Petroleum Club catering to the demands of today’s busy CEOs during the four days of the exhibition.
